Death in the Afterlife
Existence beyond our own end is something we know very little about, but our mortality is what gives life meaning. 'Death in the Afterlife' is about cycles of death and the different mythologies of the spirit world associated with going to the other side. Often times the work employs elements of symmetry to explore the commonly perceived relationship between life and death.
Truth + Disbelief
In the series entitled 'Truth + Disbelief,' the imagery is largely in landscape format. The drawings are visual representations of questions inspired by a scene or subject. The subject is usually altered to convey an inexplicable event without begining or end. The environment created is intensified by the vantage point and light, infusing mood and emotive presence.
